From 7 - 11 November 2025, The Great Walk (Y Daith Fawr) will be walking towards Wellbeing Economy Cymru Festival of Ideas:
* Gathering Ideas & Giving a Voice across South Wales. - walking from Barry’s waterfront to Swansea’s bay.
* From Path to Policy: Great Walkers, policymakers, community leaders and changemakers come together to ask: What comes next?
* Providing Empowerment-based solutions to homeless community in Wales.
All roads lead to the Festival of Ideas on Wednesday 12 November 2025!

Q: Can you tell us, with your words, WHY Homeless Entrepreneur leads this walk?
A: We are doing this walk to give 150 million people made of potential experiencing homelessness in the world a voice and presence in South Wales while promoting the Wellbeing Economy. We support the Wellbeing Economy Cymru’s mission which champions a new economic system for Wales that prioritizes the wellbeing of people and planet over profit. Our walk is a conscious act of inclusion to inspire government, corporations and civic society to include the wellbeing economy and empowerment based solutions. Each Great Walk will end homelessness for at least one of the participants in our HELP program and raise funds to do the same for current and future beneficiaries of our main programs: Helpline, Voices and HELP program.
*All of the lead Great Walkers have either 1) experienced homelessness or social exclusion, or are currently supporting Homeless Entrepreneur beneficiaries or 2) form part of The Wellbeing Economy Cymru.
Q: What kind of volunteers are needed?
A: Please see most common volunteer profiles below:
Walkers: Volunteers are invited to join us in the walk! They can join us for 1 hour, 1 day, a few days or the entire 150 km!
Fundraisers: Help us raise funds to end homelessness for beneficiaries in our main programs and support The Wellbeing Economy Cymru thanks to The Great Walk!
Team Support: Help us develop The Great Walk project as a volunteer team member, which will allow you to get involved in the operations and weekly meetings!
Promotors: Spread the word in your social media and get the press involved!
Connectors: Connect us with individuals and companies who would like to support The Great Walk!
