Homeless Entrepreneur is a charity that empowers homeless people to use the skills they have to create a new life for themselves.

With the backing of a huge community of supporters, staff, and volunteers, we work with individuals who live on the streets to create a small business or to gain employment so they can return to society, regain their self respect, and contribute to the community.

Our team includes business leaders, case workers, ambassadors, fundraising experts, psychologists, and many more from all over the world. Each person who comes through our program is assigned a support network to get them from the sidewalk to self-sufficient.

Cities we currently operate in include Barcelona, Tarragona, and Islamabad.

Our mission is to eliminate homelessness.

Homeless Entrepreneur is a small international NGO dedicated to helping people overcome homelessness through work and entrepreneurship. 

We believe cooperation, collaboration, and individual empowerment are the keys to ending homelessness in major cities across the world. We believe that when people come together, they can solve the problems that seem unsolvable. 

Our mission started in Barcelona and has already spread to cities around the world. In Barcelona, about 1,000 people sleep rough every night. These people survive on about €10 per day. 

We help these people by providing housing, skill building, and opportunities to help them help themselves. Importantly, we only work with homeless people who want to work with us. We believe that individual motivation is essential for change, and that each person must be willing to work to change their lives. 

Homeless Entrepreneur is a grassroots financially stable non-governmental organization operated by highly skilled people committed to ending homelessness in our cities.  

Our work needs support from engaged public officials and donors who want to see real change in their cities. 

It costs us €10.000 to provide housing and professional support and skill development to one homeless person. 

At this stage, we do not receive government funding of any type. 

Partnerships with local governments and financial support will enable us to magnify our impact. We can get more people off the streets and into real, genuine work. We can create more success stories that will inspire other homeless people to work to change their own lives.

Appearing at events allows us to spread our message to more people who may be able to provide support or lend their ingenuity to the Homeless Entrepreneur mission. 

We participate in all types of events to generate greater awareness, raise funds and build our community of volunteers to speed up the process of creating work and housing.

Our most mediatic event is a monthly event called #EveryoneSleepingInTheStreet, which lasts 24 hours and consists of a street debate, our team and others sleeping for the night in the street and a positive street awareness campaign.

These are held around the world and take place during popular events in which the streets are full of citizens, so our impact is able to reach as large an audience as possible.

Our main goal during this event is to reach the heart and soul of at least one decision maker who can join our cause and speed up the process of creating work and housing for and with homeless people.
